Our Origin

A one-of-a-kind mission built with institutional-grade rigor

Our mission is simple—we want more Americans to have access to the stock market and the opportunities it affords. Founded at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Investable earned First Place at Booth’s 17th Annual Global New Venture Challenge—outperforming 20+ top ventures from Chicago, London, and Hong Kong. That foundation shapes everything we build: rigorous investment standards, transparent pricing, and a product designed to help people build wealth.
